The MPA offices and staff
The staff are always happy to hear from students, and postgrads are welcome to drop in at the MPA offices at Clayton and Caulfield.
Please note that some staff members work part-time, so if you leave them a message they will get back to you as quickly as they can.

Our friendly team at Caulfield
Jenny provides strategic advice, information and administrative support to the MPAEC, develops internal policy, monitors changes and trends in government and University policies, liaises with senior officers of the university and prepares reports and submissions. She also manages the human, physical and financial resources of the MPA.
Zuzana oversees the provision of advice and advocacy to postgraduates on all campuses. She also provides expert advice on student intellectual property matters and contributes to policy submissions relating to postgraduate affairs.
Jessica Van Gent
Jessica is responsible for the MPA’s financial systems including administering the group grant and conference funding. She provides secretarial support to the MPAEC and liaises with postgraduate representatives on university committees. Jessica also manages the casual postgraduate staff employed at the Clayton office front desk.
Sunshine is situated on Clayton campus and provides advice and advocacy to all postgraduates on Clayton, Berwick, Peninsula and MMC. Sunshine also conducts small research projects for the MPA.
Ben is based at the Clayton campus and works alongside Sunshine as an advocate. He provides advice and advocacy to all postgraduates on Clayton, Berwick, Peninsula, MMC and occassionally Caulfield. Formerly from Monash Connect, Ben brings with him solid experience working with students and the university which more often than not is useful for his work.
Dina is employed one day per week to work on research projects relating to the postgraduate experience, establish data bases and provide advice in specialist areas such as industrial relations.
Janice manages the operations at the Caulfield campus. She oversees all communication, marketing and events delivered by the MPA. From time to time, Janice assists with the provision of advocacy.
Rhian is responsible for the planning and development of all MPA academic and social events across Clayton, Caulfield, Peninsula, Parkville and Berwick, as well as off-campus locations including AMREP, MMC and the Moe Centre for Rural Health. Where events are concerned, she liaises with representatives from Monash University regularly.
Caroline is responsible for the delivery of academic and social events organised by the MPA. She works alongside Rhian and oversees the volunteer and mentor program offered by the MPA. Caroline also manages the casual postgraduate staff employed at the Caulfield office front desk.
Robert is situated on Caulfield campus and provides advice and advocacy to all postgraduates on Caulfield, Parkville, AMREP and Law Chambers.
Sandra is responsible for planning, developing and implementing marketing communications for the MPA. She manages the delivery of the fortnightly newsletter, website updates and social media activity.
