Syndicate rooms & MPA meeting rooms

Ten syndicate rooms are located in the basement and on level 2 of Building H. Postgraduates can book the rooms for small group work sessions using their Google apps calendar.

A Smart Board is available for use in H2.25 (syndicate room 11).

The MPA lounge has three meeting rooms in C2 with A/V facilities

Bookings need to comply with the booking rules - note that non-compliant bookings may be removed by Site Admin with no notice.

If you are having problems booking space because other bookings exceed time caps, send an email to bookingsheriff@monash.edu with the details and they can rectify the problem (please allow 1 working day).

Lockers (Semester 1 2017)

Lockers are available to postgraduates from week 1 of semester 1 until the 30th of November.

Lockers are located on level 2 of Building H, in Building T (postgrad computer labs) and on level 2 of Building C (MPA postgrad lounge).

Lockers can be booked through trybooking and will become available for booking after O week in semester 1 each year – The exact date will be announced via the mpa newsletter. A small number of lockers will become available in semester 2 as students complete their studies. Students may only book 1 locker.

The locker costs $10 for the year and an additional refundable deposit of $40 is required for all lockers. Upon returning the key/cleaning out your locker before 30th of November, your refund will be electronically transferred to the account used to pay the deposit.

Lockers in Building H and T require a key for access. Lockers in Building C require a pin code.

Once you have booked you locker, take your student ID and locker confirmation to the Caulfield reception desk in Building C level 2 during working hours. Staff cannot hand out locker keys/codes without the student's ID and confirmation.

All keys must be returned before 30th November 2017 and the lockers must be empty and clean in order to receive the $40 refund. Electronic lockers will be reprogrammed on this date and mpa will not be liable for any personal items left in the lockers from the 30th of November onwards.

If your locker has a key, you must bring your student ID with you when returning your key and claiming your refund

Library

The Caulfield Library is located in Building A of the Caulfield campus.

The Library offers workshops on a wide range of topics as well as drop-in sessions.

The Library has subject specialist librarians who offer expert advice on finding and using information resources. Learning skills advisers can provide assistance with referencing and citation styles and academic writing skills

The MPA office is open for consultation, information, news and gathering. Our friendly staff members would love to have a chat with you. All postgraduates are welcome to visit the MPA office anytime during its opening hours!

The MPA office is on the 2nd floor of Building C.

The MPA holds a forum at Caulfield each semester to give postgraduates at Caulfield the opportunity to discuss their student experience and highlight any issues they may have.
