Postgraduate computer labs

  • Register for swipe card access to postgraduate spaces on Monash campuses. Registering for a single postgraduate computer lab or space will grant access to all postgraduate labs and spaces on all campuses, with the exception of the PhD Hub on Clayton campus which requires separate registration.

All computer labs are designated "Quiet Study" labs.

Syndicate rooms & MPA meeting rooms

Ten syndicate rooms are located in the basement and on level 2 of Building H. Postgraduates can book the rooms for small group work sessions using their Google apps calendar.

A Smart Board is available for use in H2.25 (syndicate room 11).

The MPA lounge has three meeting rooms in C2 with A/V facilities

Bookings need to comply with the booking rules - note that non-compliant bookings may be removed by Site Admin with no notice.

If you are having problems booking space because other bookings exceed time caps, send an email to with the details and they can rectify the problem (please allow 1 working day).

    Family Syndincate Room

    When it’s your turn to mind the kids but you really need to get that assignment or thesis chapter finished, book the MPA family syndicate room - a quiet room that is child friendly, with toys, books and an activity space to keep the kids busy for a few hours. The MPA family syndicate room is located within the Caulfield MPA Postgraduate Lounge (Level 2, Building C), adjacent to the MPA office reception.

    The room is available for booking from Monday to Friday between 11:00am and 5:00pm and can be booked for a maximum of 3 hours per day per postgraduate. You can book the room online through google calendar or you can email with your request.

    The Caulfield Library is located in Building A of the Caulfield campus.

    The Library offers workshops on a wide range of topics as well as drop-in sessions.

    The Library has subject specialist librarians who offer expert advice on finding and using information resources. Learning skills advisers can provide assistance with referencing and citation styles and academic writing skills

    The MPA office is open for consultation, information, news and gathering. Our friendly staff members would love to have a chat with you. All postgraduates are welcome to visit the MPA office anytime during its opening hours!
