Executive Committee

Each year up to fifteen postgraduates are elected to form the Monash Postgraduate Association Executive Committee (MPAEC). Occasionally, postgraduates are co-opted into the committee.

Meetings

The MPA Executive Committee (MPAEC) meets monthly except January. Observers are welcome. For details of the next meeting email Jessica Van Gent.

MPAEC Cooptions

From time to time, postgraduate members on the MPAEC complete their studies and leave Monash part-way through their term of office on the MPAEC. Where a vacancy arises between annual elections, postgraduates can be coopted to the committee.

To complete our 2018/2019 team, the MPA is looking for an enthusiastic and committed postgraduate to join the committee in the role of the Queer Officer. This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard, support and represent your postgraduate cohort and influence important decisions at a university level.

If you are interested, please download the cooption application and contact the MPA for details of the next meeting of the MPAEC. Cooption applications must be submitted to Jessica Van Gent by Tuesday, 24 July 2018
