Background
My background is in pharmacy and I grew up in Auckland, New Zealand. I completed my BPharm (Honours) at the University of Auckland in 2017 and registered in the Pharmacist Scope of Practice with the New Zealand Pharmacy Council in 2018 and the Pharmacy Board of Australia in 2019. I served as the Intern Pharmacist Representative for the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand in 2018.
I moved to Melbourne in March 2019 and commenced a PhD in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Monash University (Parkville campus) with the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences under the theme of Drug Discovery Biology. In the weekends I work as a community pharmacist around Melbourne and Gippsland.
I was interested in joining the MGA because of my current role as a Social Events Officer at the Parkville Postgraduate Association. As the Parkville campus is a bit of a distance away from the bigger campuses in Clayton and Caulfield, I would like to engage the postgraduate students at the Parkville campus with the social events held by the MGA at the Clayton and Caulfield campuses and bring greater awareness to the various services and utilities that MGA provides. I am also incredibly excited to facilitate communication between the MGA and the Parkville Postgraduate Association as the Parkville campus representative.
Personal Interests
In my free time I love to travel, explore new cafes and go to the gym.
