I grew up in Hobart, Tasmania before moving to Melbourne 4 years ago to start my undergraduate degree. I graduated from La Trobe University in mid year 2018 in a Bachelor of Events Management and Tourism. After graduating I went traveling and saw some amazing places in Europe and Africa.

As much as I love my home in Tasmania I also love living in Melbourne. It is a great place to explore and there is always something fun and new going on!

I started studying at Monash University at the start of 2019 and have loved my course and getting to know everyone. I think Monash is a great university and I can’t wait to get more involved through the MGA.

I joined the MGA to be an advocate for women’s rights and women’s issues. Both are topics that I am really passionate about. I hope to continue the great efforts of previous women’s officers in the MGA while ensuring that Monash is a safe place which is full of opportunities for women.

Areas of women’s rights at Monash that are of particular importance to me are:

– Ensuring there is a healthy environment in residential halls for Graduate Students.
– Making sure all Monash Graduate Students are aware of the rights of women in Australia
– Maintaining safety on campus for women
– Creating spaces and opportunities for women to learn how to and express their views and beliefs to the community.
